I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and I have accredited status with the BACP. My background is in law and television.
I specialise not only in workplace issues but also anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, fertility, boarding school issues, loss and bereavement. I offer both face to face therapy and remote therapy.
I try to understand the deep emotional narrative so that clients can move forward and make decisions with a better understanding of themselves. This work involves providing a safe, non judgemental and confidential environment where clients feel able to explore both their feelings and thoughts.
I trained as a Barrister and worked in a Solicitor’s office. Later, I was at the BBC for twelve years producing documentaries.

I am accredited with the BACP and as an Integrative Psychotherapist and counsellor I believe that each client is unique and that no single modality suits all. This means I work with psychodynamic principles, person-centred theory and cognitive behavioural theory. In my work, I may look at how your current feelings are shaped by past experiences and attachments. I may also look at patterns of behaviour and how sometimes we get locked into them. I try to help you to understand these patterns more fully. I believe that given a safe supportive space we can fulfil our potential and we are then able to start moving forward from a position of self-awareness. One of the most important things in therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. I think that I offer a sensitive, warm and thoughtful space for the clients to explore themselves. Having worked in both the legal and media industries, I recognise the stresses and pressures for those in the workplace.

Psychotherapy Qualifications, Training and Experience:
I have a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and I have accreditation status with the professional body the BACP. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Law and I also hold the Barrister’s Finals qualification. My clinical hours were carried out at CCIWBS bereavement service, CARIS Islington and Waterloo Community Counselling.

Rates:
I work with individual adults and my rate is £80 per 50 minute session
