Many of us experience times when the challenges and stresses of life get too much and this is when talking to a qualified therapist or counsellor can help.
It may be that you are coping with feeling lonely, anxious or depressed, having difficulties at work or in relationships or dealing with traumatic experiences.
Having a neutral space to explore these issues can help you to understand them better and support you to find healthy ways to overcome them.
My aim is that together we will build a therapeutic relationship so that you feel safe enough to trust me with the challenges that you are experiencing.
Psychotherapy and Counselling with Ruth Pimenta
I support clients to develop understanding and resilience and to make changes in their lives, in order to live fuller and happier lives.
My primary approach is person-centred psychotherapy. I have also trained in energy psychotherapy (Advanced Integrative Therapy) which supports clients to release any trauma held in the body. It is a gentle but effective therapy that works well with talking therapy. For further information about AIT, please go to www.ait-uk-europe.com.
I bring compassion, warmth, integrity, respect and honesty to my work and recognise the importance of creativity, humour and constructive challenge in supporting clients.
I offer a free 30-minute phone consultation to potential clients. This will enable you to ask any questions that you may have about how I work and to help you decide whether you would like to book an initial appointment with me.
