We all deserve to live full, meaningful and satisfying lives and as a humanistic psychotherapist I believe that everyone has the capacity to do so. However, pressures of everyday life, our experiences and our habits can sometimes get in the way. In these moments, therapy can be helpful.
I provide a safe, confidential arena in which we can work together to explore whatever brings you to therapy at this time, to deepen your understanding of why you find yourself where you are and, if you want something to be different, to work towards that.
Psychotherapy and Counselling with Claire de Boursac MBACP
My intention is that our work together will be empowering, inspiring, exciting and challenging and will provide you with new awareness and practical tools that will serve you, not only during our work together but for the months and years after the therapy ends.
I work collaboratively and will regularly review with a client whether they are getting what they want from the sessions.
I’m a Londoner born and bred but have lived and worked in a number of different countries. Before training in psychotherapy I worked in international development, following my strong beliefs of justice and improving the lives of people across the world. In that work, my focus was very much on empowerment, facilitating the communities to make changes for themselves rather than imposing my views. I carry this same attitude into my client work today.
