‘Wherever you go, there you are’
Hello, I’m Megan, a humanistic integrative counsellor and therapist.
You might be reading this feeling low, anxious, misunderstood, disconnected from yourself. You may be feeling stuck in patterns, struggling in your close relationships, or just finding life a bit overwhelming.
Wherever you’re at in your life, I provide a safe space that is non-judgemental, compassionate and gentle to support you to go deeper with your feelings and find your authentic self. I offer a space for you to be truly listened to, a space for you to be with yourself.
Therapy with Megan McClymont
A few of the areas I regularly work with include:
Neurodiversity
I support clients who identify as neurodivergent, whether formally diagnosed or not. You might be exploring traits of ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodiversity, or simply feel that your brain works a little differently. My role is to create a safe space where you can make sense of your experiences, build self-understanding, and find ways to navigate the world that feels authentic and manageable for you.
Grief and Loss
Grief can show up in many forms- not just after the death of a loved one, but also through the loss of a relationship, a sense of identity or the life you imagined. In therapy, we can explore what the loss means for you, how it’s affecting your life, and how you might begin to carry it differently over time.
Feeling highly sensitive
I work with people who may feel highly sensitive – those who feel deeply, notice the small things others might miss, and can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the intensity of their inner or outer world. In our work together, we will make space for that sensitivity, explore how to manage the overwhelm, and find ways to support you so you feel more grounded and resourced.
Patterns
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in familiar patterns – whether in relationships, work or how they treat themselves. You might notice the same issues repeating, even when you’re trying to do things differently. In our work together, I’ll help you gently explore where these patterns come from, how they’ve developed, and what purpose they may have served.
Boundaries
I support people who struggle with boundaries, whether that’s saying no, asking for what they need or simply naming how they feel. Together, we will work on developing the words, confidence and inner permission to set boundaries that feel authentic and sustainable.

Therapy with Megan
Therapy has been a vital part of my life since a young age. I believe in the power of self-knowledge – in knowing ourselves we can own what is ours, find self-acceptance and choose what is right for us. I recognise the value of having a place and time each week just for you to connect with where you’re at, to have someone who hears you, who is walking alongside you on your therapeutic journey. It can be frightening to begin to speak about what has been unspeakable, to look at the parts of yourself you may want to hide. The parts of yourself you may reject and fear, I will welcome and hold with compassion and curiosity.
How I work
I am a humanistic integrative therapist, which means I use different modalities which I cater to you and what works for you. I also work relationally, my belief being that the most important part of the therapy is the relationship between us. A strong relationship between a therapist and client is crucial to achieve positive change. I work in a creative, intuitive and collaborative way which involves attuning to what you bring to the therapy process.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, anti-racist and LGBTQ+ affirmative.
